TCM Herbs herbal products are made according to traditional Chinese recipes. A precisely dosed mixture of raw herbs is first boiled for a long time, thereby maintaining all the desired interactions between the ingredients. The mixture thus prepared creates a concentrated powder from which tablets are subsequently made (an efficacy ratio of 5:1 indicates that 5g of dried herbs corresponds to an efficacy of 1g of tablet).
The usual dose of herbal tablets is 4 tablets 3 times a day for an adult. Children from 3 years of age are given 2 tablets 3 times a day. In China, adults generally take 4-8 tablets 3 times a day, and the dosage for children is adjusted as follows: children under 4 years of age take ¼ of the adult dose (1-2 tablets 3 times a day), children 5 to 12 years take ½ of the adult dose (2-4 tablets 3 times a day). Taking can be adapted to the current state of the organism. In China, the daily dose of herbal tablets is doubled if necessary, sometimes it is increased to three times the normal daily dose. The dose is also doubled if one common dose is forgotten or omitted.
Tablets are best taken on an empty stomach, the first meal can follow in 15 minutes, but it is better to wait a little longer. Alternatively, they can be taken 30 minutes after a meal. It is recommended to drink them with lukewarm water, preferably without chlorine and bubbles.
Fasting ingestion is always better in terms of efficacy, but you need to test what works best for you. In case of missed daily dose, we recommend doubling the following dose. If the user has difficulty swallowing the tablets, they can be dissolved in hot water and drunk like tea. This problem is usually solved in small children, as tablets are usually too big or bitter for them, so it is necessary to deal differently. Simply make powder by crushing and mix into a fruit snack, juice or soup.
In China, herbal tablets have been used since a very early age. They are given to infants in the form of a powder spread around the nipples of the nursing mother, so they are literally taken with the breast milk.
